After years of roasting, serving, and tasting coffee from all over the world, SY Wong and Jayson Wun have shared a vision for creating a roastery that specialises in bringing out the best in every bean.

Serving as WOKE’s head roaster, SY’s extensive background in the industry can be traced back to her many accomplishments. Winning second runner-up in the 2014 Battle of the Baristas Cup Tasters Championship and qualifying as a semi-finalist in the 2015 Malaysia Barista Championship exemplifies her unwavering love for the technicalities of coffee making, which she continues to pursue to this day.

Using quality beans and intricate roasting techniques from over a decade of experience as baristas and roasters, their belief of delivering great coffee at its freshest and most flavorful is evident in each and every cup.

We roast on a 6kg Giesen Coffee Roaster in Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur, and take great care to preserve the quality and integrity of each coffee we feature, as well as highlight the most exquisite characteristics in every lot.
